Flexibility / Health Precautions

In an effort to keep myself, my family, and my clients safe I am implementing a Flexibility Safeguard. If on the days leading up to your sesison anyone in your family feels sick (or comes in contact with someone known to be sick), we can shuffle things around with no hassle.

I'm doing my best to stay well so I can offer these sessions safely and in good faith my clients will do the same. I'll be wearing a mask while in your home.

If you have specific requests or ways I can make this a more comfortable experience please let me know.

What should I expect?

Nothing to be nervous about, my goal is for this to be as comfortable an experience as possible for you & yours. A laid back 60-90 minutes of shooting yeilding 85-100 finished images.

I view my sessions as a creative collaboration and exploration of the present moment. It's not about coming together to pose for photos, but rather a time you set aside to be with your loved one(s) and be seen as you are. If children are present I will let them set the pace and give them time to gain my trust before asking too much of them. I've been photographing folks for 10 years and I've learned how to direct my subjects throughout the session while still allowing for your natrual self to shine through.

how much does this cost?

This session is $550. A depsoit of $99 secures your booking and the remaining balance of $451 is due 1 day before your session. Installments are available by request. Special pricing availble for Single Parent families.

Where will we be taking photos?

I'll be photographing you and yours in your home, typically in the spaces you're all most comfrotable, or tend to spend time together. The light in your home will inform the shots we create, but as long as you have windows with some natural light we're sure to create some magic.

Here's A Sample Gallery if you'd like to see a previous session.

What should I wear?

My only rule is to wear something you're comfortable in, if you feel like yourself in it, it's the right choice.

If you need more direction: Solid colors work wonderful, if you're totally stumped try putting everyone in their own solid color and see if the colors look nice togehter. I reccomend staying away from bright patterns and obvious logos or words on clothing.

Should I prepare anything?

It's a great idea to come up with an activity to do as a family. Nothing too involved, but cooking a meal or something simple to interact with your loved one(s) will give us some great photos.

I also find music to be an important factor in setting the tone for that laid-back feeling. I encourage you to make a playlist that you'd enjoy listening to as we shoot. No pressure though, I'll have a playlist at the ready too.

How many photos will I recieve and when should I expect them?

You'll receive 85-100 finished images. All photos will be uploaded to a private digital gallery which is password protected and sent via email. You'll have options for ordering prints shipped directly to you, or you can download at full resolution for safe keeping/ printing on your own.

You can expect your gallery 3 weeks after your session date.
